VASCO: St. Andrew’s School ICSE/ISC has advanced to the West Zone Finals of the All India Inter School Robotics Championship 2024, organised by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) in collaboration with the Indian Habitat Forum and IIT Delhi’s Technological Innovation Hub. The school will compete in Mumbai on 28th October 2024 for a spot in the National Finals. The grand finals will be held on 12th November at CISCE’s Centre of Excellence in Hyderabad. This year, St. Andrew’s introduced Robotics and Artificial Intelligence for Class 9 and above, fostering skills like critical thinking, teamwork, and coding. The team, consisting of Class IX students Michelle Pereira, Mayank Redkar, and Ahyan Shaikh, will be accompanied by their mentor Raymond Santimano and Lab Assistant Deepesh Kaulekar.
