The Viksit Bharat Youth Parliament was launched in South Goa on Saturday at an event held at Don Bosco Engineering College, Fatorda.
This initiative aims to help India achieve its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of Independence.
Speaking at the inauguration, Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai encouraged students to think independently and form their own vision for India’s progress. He was joined by Margao Municipal Chairperson Damu Shirodkar, Don Bosco Engineering College Principal Fr Kinley D’Cruz, and others.
Sardesai said he wanted to inspire participants to think for themselves rather than follow any individual or political party. He noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a smart politician who understands the importance of the youth vote.
