The Tata STRIVE Extension Center, Ponda, organised a Graduation Ceremony to mark the completion of courses by learners in UX Design, Front Office Associate (FOA), and General Duty Assistant (GDA).
A total of 33 GDA learners, 52 UX Design graduates, and 100 FOA graduates received their certifications.
Director of Social Welfare Department Ajit Panchwadkar, Chief Guest on the occassion, spoke on the role of skill development.
"This initiative offers employment-oriented courses, including General Duty Attendant, Front Office Executive and Electrician training. These courses have a placement rate exceeding 80 percent, with some graduates securing international opportunities. The starting salary ranges from Rs 18,000 to Rs 20,000, and the course duration varies between three to six months," he said.
Principal, ITI Farmagudi Akshay Shirvekar was the guest of honour while Educationist & Social Worker Ashok Priolkar was the special guest.
