MARGAO:
In a major theft reported at a Varca based starred Hotel, unknown miscreants committed theft of gold jewellery worth Rs 10 lakhs.
Colva police have registered a case of theft against unknown persons upon a complaint lodged by Arpit Upadhaya, r/o Q54 Jaypee Greens, Sector 131 Noida Uttar Pradesh.
The incident is reported to have taken place on 21/10/2024 between 18:15 to 20:35 hours at Hotel Club Mahindra Varca Salcete Goa.
Police said that unknown accused persons forcefully opened the gallery door of room No 2304 at Hotel Club Mahindra and committed theft of Gold Jewellery worth Rs. 10 lakhs. Further investigation is being carried on by PSI Nikhil Khajnekar of Colva PS.
