The Quitol plateau at Betul, which was in the news recently on account of discreet plans to hold the Sunburn music festival, is playing host to a strange visitor.
Local residents have sighted what is believed to be a black panther on the prowl on the plateau.
The movements of the black panther were captured on video which has gone viral on the social media. Incidentally, a black panther was sighted in the neighboring village of Balli some months ago.
The wild animal was later trapped by the forest department before it was released in the forests.
