The Maina Curtorim police has arrested three persons in connection with the assault on Ganesh Lamani with pipes and rods at Arlem-Raia.
In his complaint, Devdas Lamani, a resident of Arlem Raia had complained that accused persons namely Pravin Rathod, Arjun Rathod and Harichandra Rathod, all residents of Arlem-Raia with common intention assaulted complainant’s brother, Ganesh Lamani, with pipe and Iron rod, over his head causing him grievous injuries.
The complainant further alleged that when he went to stop the accused persons, they further assaulted him with slaps, fist blow, pipe and iron rode on his hand, leg and stomach thereby causing him simple injuries over the issue of property matter.
Accused persons Pravin Rathod, Arjun Rathod and Harichandra Rathod are placed under arrest. They have been remanded to four days police custody.
The Maina Curtorim police has registered a case under section 118 (1), 118 (2) R/w 3 (5) of BNS 2023.
