An Andhra Pradesh-registered car was found driving on the sand at Morjim beach on Friday and was later seized by police.
According to reports, the car moving on Morjim beach was spotted by ASI Ashok Gawandi and Siolim Coastal Security PC Govind Shetye at about 10.10 am, while they were on fixed point duty at the Life Guard Tower of Morjim.
When contacted, Pernem Police Inspector Sachin Lokre said the car driver Narella Suresh (32) of Hyderabad was arrested on charges of posing danger to the other tourists on the beach and the car was also seized by police.
