Transformative projects launched   in Sattari to boost development

The govt today unveiled a series of transformative projects in Sattari aimed at boosting regional development and enhancing the quality of life for residents. The initiatives include the development of a Wellness Destination Centre and Eco-Cottages, the repair and beautification of the Shri Sateri Ajoba Temple, a 15 million litres per day (MLD) Water Treatment Plant in Sattari, and the conversion of the 11 KV Aerial Bunched Cable to an underground 11 KV cable for the Keri Feeder extending from Morlem village panchayat to Keri village.  

Speaking at the inauguration, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant emphasized the government’s focus on sustainable growth. 

"These projects showcase our commitment to enhancing infrastructure, promoting eco-tourism, and ensuring the well-being of our citizens and align perfectly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of transforming rural infrastructure and creating holistic growth opportunities for our people," he said. 

Health and Urban Development Minister Vishwajit Rane described infrastructure development as the backbone of progress. 

"These initiatives exemplify the collaborative efforts of the state and central governments in realizing the dream of a developed, self-reliant India," he stated.  

Power Minister Sudin Dhavalikar highlighted the transformative impact of these developments saying, "From improving citizens’ quality of life to ensuring water security and promoting sustainable tourism, these projects underline the government’s commitment to rural development and modernisation."  

Poriem MLA Deviya Rane further explained, "The Wellness Destination Centre and Eco-Cottages will not only boost tourism in the region but also generate employment, embodying the principle of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas.'"
