Colva Police have arrested two persons for accepting illegal bets on the ongoing IPL cricket match at Vasvaddo-Benaulim around midnight.
Police said the accused, Imran Ballari, a resident of Moddi-Mandop, Navelim, and Ismail Bepari, a resident of Shirvodem-Navelim, were allegedly caught red-handed while accepting illegal bets on the ongoing IPL cricket match played between PBKS and KKR, in a closed premises.
During the raid, police seized various gambling articles and mobile phones, all worth Rs 90,000. Both accused were arrested in the crime.
