Two injured in Mapusa mishap

One person was seriously injured, while another escaped with minor injuries in a road mishap at Housing Board, Mapusa, on Friday.
According to Mapusa Police, a car was proceeding to Siolim when it knocked down a motorcyclist, Ulhas Shetkar, while overtaking another vehicle at Housing Board.
The car driver moved ahead without stopping and knocked down another motorcyclist, Devidas Mhammal.
Shetkar suffered a fracture to his leg and was moved to GMC, while Mhammal escaped with minor injuries. Mapusa Police Constable Ulhas Gaonkar is investigating the case.
