MARGAO: A late night road accident on the NH66 at Paddi left a rider and pillion rider dead.
Cuncolim police are investigating the cause behind the accident, whether the two-wheeler was hit by a vehicle, including a bus.
Cuncolim PI Diogo Gracias informed that 38 year old Dilip Velip, who was riding pillion, died on the spot. The rider Sandesh Gaonkar (26) died at the South Goa District hospital while in the process of being shifted to the Goa Medical College and hospital Bambolim.
The duo was heading towards Mobor Cavelosism for their night shift when the accident occurred. Cuncolim police are investigating the case.
