In a quick and well-coordinated effort, the Vasco Railway Police successfully traced and rescued a 15-year-old girl who had been kidnapped from Delhi. She was found at Vasco Railway Station.
The case came to light on Sunday when PSI Yaspal Yadav from the South Campus Police Station in Delhi informed the Vasco Railway Police about the kidnapping, which was reported under Cr. No. 38/25 U/s 137(ii) of the BNS. PSI Yadav said the girl’s mobile phone showed her location at Vasco Railway Station.
Following this, PSI Talpi and the Vasco Railway Police team began patrolling the station. They soon found the missing girl with a 25-year-old man. Both were detained, and the girl was safely taken to Apna Ghar in Merces later that night.
The 25-year-old man was handed over to the South Campus Police Station on Monday. Arrangements are being made to transfer the girl from Apna Ghar in Merces to the Delhi Police for further investigation.
