Comunidade of Verna held their Managing Committee elections in a democratic manner on January 19, 2025 for the triennium 2025- 2027. Shareholders & components turned out in large numbers and gave a clear mandate to a new Managing Committee.
Verna Panel swept all the six positions with a thumping majority defeating the other panel with none. This proves that all who took part in the election process stand for integrity, honesty and a commitment to protect their land.
The election proceedings were conducted under the supervision of presiding Officer Sanket Dessai and Escrivao Shivdas Borkar.
Joseph Guia Fernandes has been elected as President, while Celestino A.B. Noronha as Attorney, Caetano Luis Peres as Treasurer. The substitute positions will be held by Antonio Juvenal Do Rosario Rego-President, Alberto Antonio Das Dores Mascarenhas- Attorney and Ignatius Lawrence Rodrigues-Treasurer.
