MARGAO: A worker hired by a contractor for underground cabling in Cuncolim suffered burns on his hands after receiving an electric shock on Wednesday. Cuncolim Police Station in-charge, PI Diogo Gracias, said the worker has been taken to the GMC for treatment. Police have started an investigation to determine the cause of the electric shock. “We will find out how the worker got electrocuted. His statement will be recorded as part of the inquiry,” PI Gracias said.
