The Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), along with the office of the Additional DGFT, Mumbai, in association with the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, organised a workshop on ‘Goa and Global Trade: Preparing for the Future’ under the Niryat Bandhu Scheme on Monday in Goa.
The session covered key topics such as advance authorisation, EPCG, filing of annual RoDTEP returns, eBRC, credit insurance through ECGC, and export procedures via India Post, among other important subjects.
RK Mishra, Additional DGFT, Mumbai, explained the benefits available to exporters through various government schemes. He assured participants of full support in boosting exports from Goa. Senior officials from the DGFT, Mumbai; Commissioner of Customs, Goa; India Post; and ECGC gave detailed presentations on these topics.
The workshop concluded with an interactive session where participants raised their queries, which were effectively addressed by the experts.
