OLD GOA
As 1,500 youth formed part of the human chain as the Sacred Relics of St Francis Xavier were taken from Basilica to Cathedral, the youth expressed joy that they could partake in the Exposition.
Speaking to reporters, Velosha Rodrigues from Santa Cruz said that she feels blessed and grateful to be part of the human chain and that it would be memorable as it is once in a lifetime opportunity.
Another youth Valerie from Tuem said that it is a great initiative taken by the Archdiocese and it will encourage more youth to participate in Church activities.
“It also gives them sense of being empathetic towards others,” she added.
Noel Pereira from Chinchinim and Neville Pereira from Mapusa also said that they felt good about the opportunity and urged more youth to participate in Church activities.
