Nearly five days after Rajesh Sinary and his family were forcibly evicted from their home by unidentified individuals, the Anjuna Police have arrested three persons, all of whom were employed as security guards.
However, the prime accused, Janardhan Korathe, remains at large.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Rakesh Nandkishor Raha (36) of Sanquelim and a native of Uttar Pradesh, Parshuram Shankar Gawas (42) from Nadora and Vicky Vijay Naik (20) of Old Goa.
All three were working as security guards at the time of the incident.
According to police officials, the trio has been charged with trespass, theft and criminal intimidation.
Meanwhile, the investigation has been transferred to the Crime Branch for further probing.
In his complaint, Sinary alleged that a group of individuals he referred to as ‘goons’ forcibly removed his family from their residence.
He further stated that Korathe and his accomplices broke into their home at St Michael’s Waddo, Anjuna and fled with valuables, including electronic devices.
