PANAJI: Panaji: Archbishop Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrao has extended warm Eid al-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community, emphasising peace and unity.
“As they end their month-long fast, our Muslim brothers and sisters begin a new life of peace and renewed ties with family and community,” he said. Speaking on behalf of Goa’s Christian community, he expressed joy in their celebration and hoped the occasion fosters fraternal encounters among all.
Quoting the Vatican’s message for Eid, he highlighted that simple moments of sharing can be “seeds of hope” that transform communities.
