OLD GOA
Clarifying on the incident involving his brother in which he was seen trespassing in a private property and issuing threats to a project proponent, St Andre MLA Viresh Borkar said that it was an act of frustration as the project continued despite there being a stay.
"I do not support the behaviour of my brother but today, what is happening is that the builders are doing whatever they want in my constituency and one such project is in Bambolim where the State level expert committee of Ministry of Environment had directed that the work be stopped till the environment clearance is obtained for the project," Borkar stated.
"But the builder has shown scant respect for the order and the work is going on day and night," he added while adding that such care-a-damn attitude brings about frustration, which was seen in the action by my brother.
