PANAJI
Industrialist Srinivas Dempo was unanimously elected the president of the managing committee of the Mahalaxmi Temple in the capital city -- Shree Mahalaxmi Saunsthan, Panaji.
Along with Dempo, Mahesh Candolcar was elected its secretary, noted hotelier Gauresh Dhond was elected treasurer and Narayan Mandrekar its Attorney.
Dempo has held the position of the committee's president in the past as well.
