PANAJI: Mandrem police have arrested Varun Bawa, a resident of Himachal Pradesh, on charges of alleged illegal possession of drugs.
The arrest was made following a raid near a yoga academy in Arambol during the early hours of Thursday.
The raiding team seized around 630 grams of suspected charas valued at Rs 6.30 lakh approx. One silver-colored weighing pocket scale, Rs 6,000 cash and a mobile phone with a SIM card have also been seized.
