MAPUSA: In a joint operation, the Directorate of Mines and Geology and Colvale police raided an illegal stone quarry in Pirna, seizing machinery worth several lakhs. The confiscated equipment included a tipper truck, a JCB, generators, power tiller and cutting machines.
Authorities have launched an investigation to identify those responsible for the illegal operation. Further action will be taken based on the findings, officials confirmed.
