MARGAO: A child in conflict with the law has been placed at Apna Ghar, Merces, for assaulting a carpenter with a metal pipe.
The Maina Curtorim police have registered a case based on a complaint by Dinesh Metri, a resident of Dicarpali, Navelim.
According to the complaint, the child attacked carpenter Hasmat Razaq, a resident of Don Khuris, Sao Jose De Areal, while he was working at “DD Furniture’s House,” a shop owned by the complainant. The assault with the metal pipe caused serious head injuries to the carpenter.
