Residents of Molla and Galli in Sao Jose de Areal are frustrated over irregular water supply for the past two years. The 50-60 households rely on tankers as their taps receive only a trickle, often after a gap of one or two days. Despite repeated complaints, authorities have ignored their pleas.
On Monday, residents gathered to highlight their grievances. They questioned why the PWD has not replaced faulty pipelines, demanding a regular supply. “There are 500 people living here—don’t we deserve proper water?” they asked.
