In the death of Manmohan Singh, the country has lost one of its most sincere, qualified, courteous, and respected statesmen. Known to be quiet and a man of few words, Manmohan Singh portrayed to the world what humility is all about. Even in the face of the most disgusting and disgraceful comments against him, he maintained his composure, choosing to remain silent rather than respond to his detractors and critics. In fact, these words uttered by him still ring in my ears, "My silence is better than a thousand answers."
Even as our top politicians pay homage to Manmohan Singh, I think they have a lot to learn from the man. They need to go beyond ‘lip service’. The message is clear!
