Recently I visited the painting exhibition at Old Goa titled, "The Footprints of Hope". Renowned artists have their paintings displayed in this gallery next to St Augustine tower. Their works are very much impressive and a befitting exhibition on the life of Goemcho Saib -- our patron Saint of Goa during this 18th Exposition. I could sum it up that their works gave a clear DNA report of the much venerated saint of Goa. Apart from this I was upset as the organisers failed to see that parking for four wheelers was made available. It was horrible as I had to drop off friends at the gallery and take my car down to the parking place where people would park to go to visit the Se Cathedral. While there were sign boards along the road to the art gallery displaying "No parking" signs the road was still parked with cars. The organisers should have provided proper parking arrangements near the gallery or proper pick up for people to attend the exhibition should have been made. I hope the organisers will see that such inconvenience over parking does not repeat during future exhibitions.
