Pope Francis' legacy of mercy will live forever

This upcoming "conclave" is the most important in history, as Cardinals will gather in the Sistine Chapel to find a successor that should match Jorge Mario Bergoglio's legacy path.  The new name, Francis, was chosen on March 13,  2013, which paid homage to St Francis of Assisi, who lived the poorest of the poor and simple life.  In the very first year as Pope in 2013, Francis opted to spend Maundy Thursday at the Casal del Marmo jail for minors on the outskirts of Rome instead of conducting the mass at St Peter’s Basilica, where he washed the feet of two women and two Muslims when the tradition was usually reserved for Catholic men; how significant this is, like a phenomenal blessing and a great example for life. Pope Francis, as a spiritual leader to more than one-sixth of the world's population, 1.4 billion people, has made it his personal mission to transform the image of the Catholic Church in believing that all major religions lead to the one God teaching us all to live in religious harmony.
