The ruthless terrorist attack in Pahalgam throws up questions regarding security. How did the terrorists carry out such an attack inspite of the Central government claiming full proof security and it was said in the Parliament recently by Home Minister Amit Shah that terrorists attacks have dropped drastically? Now due to the attack, the tourists will stay away due to security reasons in Jammu and Kashmir which will will be blow to economy dependent on tourism. The onus lies on Home department how to bring normalcy in the region so that there are no further terror attacks. I an not sure if Pakistan is serious about wiping out terrorism as they should have adopted zero tolerance policy against terrorism long ago . The Pakistan military has always backed militant outfits and training them on their soil is a proof for cross-border terrorism. The ruthless killing or butchering of innocent tourists in Pahalgam shows a callous regard for human life. Terrorism will never solve the problem between the two countries but negotiable solution will definitely do. Pakistan is not serious as they have lost all previous wars with India. Hence they are promoting terrorism.
