There is an urgent requirement to re-visit the standard X history and political science text book fourth reprint June, 2021 on page no 77. The students who have answered their history paper March 7, 2025 question number 21 "who plays a highly crucial role in the politico-administrative systems of the country’’ the answer to this aforesaid question has possible two likely correct answers. The first likely correct answer may be the prime minister and the second likely correct answer may be the council of ministers headed by the prime minister which is the cabinet. On one side the history text book mentions that the prime minister plays a highly crucial role in the politico-administrative system of the country whereas, on the same page number 77 of the history text book it mentions that the council of ministers headed by the prime minister is the real executive authority in our politico-administrative system. The education department and the Goa board of secondary and higher secondary education must take note of the question no 21 of the SSC history paper and accordingly give the benefit of doubt to the students by giving full marks to those answering the question.
