Will our politicians learn from Wayanad disaster?

The devastating landslides at Wayanad, Kerala has caused massive loss of life and trail of destruction. It is certainly a major calamity and those affected should be provided immediate assistance. It’s positive to see Goan ruling politicians including CM and TCP Minister offering support from Goa (which will be mostly from Goan taxpayers money and not from ruling politicians). but I wish to know if these Goan Ministers are learning any lessons from this man made disaster, created/allowed by ruling politicians from Kerala. My main point is that Goan Ruling Ministers are allowing so much destruction of environment, hills, forests, mangroves, trees etc. and leading Goa to similar calamities.  Real estate development is going unchecked, way beyond tolerable levels in Goa; and Goan ministers/MLA’s are blinded by the huge amount of “money/benefits” it brings to them personally.  Anyway it is  pointless to try convincing Goan ruling politicians who are “fattening their/families  bank accounts ” whilst destroying Goa and threatening calamities on us;  the onus is on Goan voters to put pressure on destructive Goan ruling politicians to change course, else we should be ready for any disaster to hit us.
