Vijai prompt in taking up former sarpanch’s attack with MLA
It’s a sheer coincidence that when Mandrem ex-Sarpanch Maheshbab Konadkar was attacked earlier this week, Mandrem MLA Jit Arolkar was in Fatorda to lay the foundation stone for the Housing Board project. Moments after the assault, Goa Forward chief Vijaibab Sardesai, received a call from party workers in Mandrem on the attack on Maheshbab. Sources said Vijaibab is believed to have taken up the attack incident with Arolkar. Goa Forward leaders too were quick to condemn the incident. Any questions?

Congress’ prospective candidates, gearing up for the 2027 Assembly polls, are on the job to find out names of Congress functionaries in Delhi with whom the AAP delegation from Goa had a meeting in the national capital earlier this week. In fact, Congress workers, who have set their eyes on the 2027 polls, have been trying to contact party Goa leaders to find out the truth behind Venzy’s claim over the Delhi meeting. Has Chief Minister Pramodbab Sawant’s men-in-uniform made any headway into the attack on ex-Congress president Girishbab Chodankar’s car at the Holy Spirit Church square?
