The Master’s National Snooker Championship 2024-25, currently underway in Goa, has witnessed intense competition, with renowned snooker player Kamal Chawla setting a high standard. Organized by the Billiards Snooker Association of Goa and the Billiards Snooker Federation of India, the tournament has attracted top players including Manan Chandra, Rushabh Jain, and Mudit Poddar.

Chawla himself overcame a spirited challenge from I H Manudev of Karnataka, winning 4-2. He showcased his composure, securing frames with breaks of 48 and 72, despite Manudev's strong resistance, including a 73-point break.

Manan Chandra of PSPB delivered a dominant performance, sweeping aside Subrat Das of Odisha 4-0. Chandra's consistent scoring and break-building, including a notable 68 and 65 in the final frame, proved too much for Das.

Rushabh Jain of Maharashtra defeated fellow state player Piyush Limbad 4-1. After dropping the first frame, Jain rallied with impressive breaks of 57 and consistent frame wins to secure his semi-final berth.

Vijay Nichani of Tamil Nadu also advanced with a 4-1 victory over Mudit Poddar. Despite losing the opening frame to Poddar's impressive 83-point break, Nichani regrouped, demonstrating strong tactical play and consistent scoring to win the subsequent four frames.
