A hat-trick by Javad Makandkar powered Clube Recreativo & Cultural de Chinchinim to a dominant 5-1 victory over United Boys of Ambaulim in the GFA Under-15 Division II League at Betalbatim Church Ground on Wednesday.
Despite Chinchinim’s overall dominance, it was Ambaulim who took an early lead in the 7th minute when Nyson Rebello placed a well-timed shot past the Chinchinim goalkeeper. However, Chinchinim responded quickly, with Javad equalizing in the 16th minute. Just 10 minutes later, Javad struck again, giving Chinchinim a 2-1 lead in the 26th minute.
The second half was entirely controlled by Chinchinim, who outplayed their opponents in every aspect of the game. Swedon Simoes added to the tally in the 45th minute, and a minute later, Fozail Ahmed increased their lead. Javad completed his hat-trick in the 62nd minute to seal the 5-1 win for Chinchinim.
In another match, Ave Maria Athletic defeated Walkers Club Benaulim 1-0, with the crucial goal scored by Jovison Braganza in the 54th minute.
