Dicarpale Sports Club secured a 3-1 victory against St Anthony's Sports Club Assolda in a thrilling contest in the Fr Basilio Andrade Memorial Tournament that kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

Dicarpale started strong, as Aeren Figueredo delivered a precise cross from the right, which Milton Colaco connected with, only to see his shot strike the post. Moments later, Ryan Furtado had a golden chance to score but sent his shot over the bar when one-on-one with the goalkeeper.

St Anthony's responded with a close attempt from Drayson Fernandes, whose diving header from a Cruz Gomes cross was expertly saved by Dicarpale’s goalkeeper, Avin Vales. The turning point came when Assolda's goalkeeper, Jackson Vaz, handled the ball outside the box, giving Dicarpale a free kick. Sahil Inamdar took full advantage, unleashing a powerful shot that found the back of the net, putting Dicarpale ahead.

Ryan Furtado had another opportunity to increase the lead but, again, shot over the crossbar. St Anthony's nearly equalized when Cruz Gomes struck the bar, narrowly missing the chance to level the score.

Milton Colaco continued to pressure the Assolda defense, dispossessing Joaquim Carvalho and firing another shot that struck the post. However, St Anthony's finally found their breakthrough when Victorino Fernandes, receiving a brilliant pass from Joaquim Carvalho, calmly slotted the ball past the Dicarpale goalkeeper to level the score.

With minutes left in the match, Dicarpale regained control. Milton Colaco's fierce shot was awkwardly parried by Jackson Vaz, allowing Aeren Figueredo to quickly follow up and score from the rebound, restoring Dicarpale's lead. In the dying moments, Veleston Colaco delivered a well-placed pass to Sahil Inamdar, who coolly finished as the goalkeeper advanced, sealing a well-deserved 3-1 victory for Dicarpale.
