The 7th All India Bhikoo Pai Angle Memorial U-15 Cricket Tournament continued to produce exciting action on its second day, with dominant performances from Dwarka Cricket Academy (Nashik), Margao Cricket Academy, M.S. Dhoni Cricket Academy (Nagpur), and the Sports Authority of Goa (SAG). All four teams registered comprehensive wins, with SAG and M.S. Dhoni Academy securing comfortable victories by 9 wickets and 8 wickets, respectively, while Dwarka’s massive 233-run win over Green Nest Sports Academy was the standout result of the day.
Sports Authority of Goa won by nine wickets against Team Work Sports Academy, at SAG ground. Team Work was dismissed for a paltry 56 runs in 22 overs. Guruh Shaastaa R. G. top-scored with 14 runs, but the SAG bowlers were in superb form. Mrunal Naik (2-8), Bhavesh MRK (2-12), and Shaurya Chodankar (3-8) bowled out Team Work with ease.
In reply, SAG chased down the modest target of 57 runs in just 6.4 overs, losing only one wicket. Pranjal Singh (22) and Atharva (14*) saw SAG home to a convincing victory, with more than 20 overs to spare.
At Agonda ground: MS Dhoni Cricket Academy (Nagpur) won by eight wickets against Panthers Cricket Academy (Bangalore).
Panthers Cricket Academy was bundled out for just 64 runs in 24.5 overs. Abhinav Sharma (14) and Beyon (13) were the only notable contributors with the bat. The MS Dhoni Academy bowlers dominated, with Akshat Poosam leading the charge with 4 wickets for 14 runs, supported by Karan Data (2-8).
In response, M.S. Dhoni C. A. chased down the target comfortably, reaching 68/2 in 12.3 overs. Nirmik Charde (26*) and Abhimaan Singh (21*) steered the Nagpur team to victory, with the team winning by 8 wickets.
Elsewhere, at SAG Ground, Sanguem: Margao Cricket Academy defeated BP Patil Cricket Academy (Mumbai) by eight wickets.
BP Patil Cricket Academy was restricted to 172 all out in 39.4 overs. Om Patil top-scored with 52 runs, while Sarvesh Maitre added 20 runs. Margao’s Pratyush Bidhu was the standout bowler, taking 5 wickets for 23 runs, while Shaunik Vidoo supported with 2 wickets for 16 runs.
In reply, Margao Cricket Academy chased down the target of 173 with ease, reaching 178/2 in 35 overs. Pratyush Bidhu (98*) played a brilliant unbeaten knock, supported by Dhruv Chodankar (43). Sai Kharat was the best bowler for BP Patil, taking 1 wicket for 13 runs.
Meanwhile, Chicalim ground Dwarka Cricket Academy (Nashik) won by 233 runs against Green Nest Sports Academy (Coimbatore).
Dwarka Cricket Academy posted a massive total of 305/8 in 42 overs. Sparsh Vidhate was the star with the bat, scoring 73 runs, while Karan Kolhe (53) and Arav Ahire (24) contributed valuable runs in the middle order. Green Nest’s bowlers struggled to contain the runs, with Krishvanth S. taking 2 wickets for 41 runs, and Santosh J. claiming 1 wicket for 33 runs.
In reply, Green Nest was bowled out for just 72 runs in 33 overs. Guru Shasta (18) and Adhavan (19) were the only two batsmen who showed any resistance. Ojas (2-14), Arav Ahire (2-12), and Karan Kolhe (1-6) shared the wickets for Dwarka as they clinched a resounding 233-run win.
