MARGAO: Fr Agnelo YSC Paroda secured their place in the semifinals of the All Goa Navelim Villagers Union Trophy with a 1-0 victory over Carmona Sports Club at Rosary Church Ground in Navelim on Friday.
The match's only goal came in the 19th minute when Regan Costa fired a powerful shot from the edge of the box, beating both the Carmona defense and goalkeeper to find the back of the net. Despite continued efforts from Carmona, Fr. Agnelo held firm to secure the win.
Edwin (Cipru) Cardozo, ZP Member of Navelim, presented the Man of the Match award to Regan Costa for his match-winning performance.
