Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi won by 3 wickets against Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, Margao to move to the semi-finals of the Goa University inter-collegiate cricket men championship, at Goa University cricket ground, Taleigao.

The toss was won by Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi who elected to bowl first. Shree Damodar College were bundled out for 125/10 in 19.2 overs.

Omprakash Lenke 41(30) and Rijul Pathak 25(26) were the top scorers of the innings. Shreyash Usgaonkar (3/16) and Narayan Sawant (2/16) were economical with the ball for the engineering college.

In repl, Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi chased down the target in 19.3 overs.

Smit Dalvi 32(38) and Venkat Kumar 29(25) led the chase for Farmagudi. Samprabh Phaldesai (2/27) and Saiesh Satardekar (2/16) were the pick of the bowlers for Damodar college.

In the fourth quarter-final match, Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College and Research Centre, Assagao defeated SS Dempo College of Commerce & Economics, Cujira by 8 Wickets.

The toss was won by S.S. Dempo College who opted to bat.

S S Dempo College of Commerce & Economics, Cujira were restricted to 144/10 in 19.5 overs. Aryan Mashelkar 47(41) and Yash Manjrekar 24(26) laid the foundation for Dempo's innings. Namdev Raul (4/19) recorded excellent bowling figures for the Assagao college.

In reply, Dnyanprassarak Mandal’s College chased the target with ease with an unbeaten knock from Yash Gadekar 82(59) who was supported by Om Madgaonkar 27(27). Yash Manjrekar (1/21) was the lone bowler to stand out for SS Dempo College.
