PANAJI: Mavericks Sports (GMSC) will organize its second All Goa Six-A-Side Hockey Tournament for Men and Women, on May 9 and 10 at Peddem Sports Complex, Mapusa from 3pm to 10 pm, organizers of the event announced.
The highlight of the tournament, is that 12 players from the tournament will be selected to represent Goa at the St. Peters Hockey Tournament in Bandra, Mumbai.
Olympians Mervyn Fernandes and Joaquim Carvalho who will be present at the tournament will select the players from the tournament.
The team which will take part in the Mumbai tournament will be sponsored by GMSC.
Interested teams are to submit their entries along with an entry Fee of ₹1,000 per team.
The last date to submit entries is April 30.
The organisers are looking forward to having more than one team participate in the tournament.
