MARGAO: After the successful hosting of the 3rd Chandrakant Karapurkar Trophy, Margao Cricket Academy is gearing up to organize another exciting tournament—this time for Under-14 cricketers. The tournament will be held from May 16 to May 22, with matches scheduled at the SAG ground, Fatorda and Konkan Railway ground, Margao.
A total of eight Goan teams will compete for the title. So far, six teams have confirmed their participation:
My Cricket Academy, Malkarnem; MCC Academy, Margao; VPCC, Panaji; Oxford Cricket Club, Margao; Kreeda Prabodhini Cricket Academy and Bogda Youth / SN Academy
The organizers are currently inviting two more teams to complete the lineup. The cut-off birth date for players is September 1, 2011.
The format includes three league matches (20 overs each) for each team, followed by a final to be played at KRC Ground.
This tournament promises to be a great platform for young cricketers to showcase their talent and gain competitive experience.
