VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics from Margao decisively defeated P.E.S’s Rajaram & Tarabai Bandekar College of Pharmacy, Farmagudi, with a score of 6-0 in the inter-collegiate football championship, at Goa University ground.

The first half saw Shree Damodar College take control, scoring four goals: Nayab Khan found the net in the 3rd and 12th minutes, followed by Ainan Mascarenhas in the 21st minute and Devkaran Ram in the 22nd minute. In the second half, Khan added two more goals in the 39th and 54th minutes, completing his hat trick and solidifying the team's dominance.

In the second match, Shree Mallikarjun College secured a convincing 5-0 victory over Shree Rayeshwar Institute of Engineering & Information Technology, Shiroda. The first half featured three early goals, with Vishwajeet Gaonkar scoring in the 2nd minute, followed by Swetan Gaonkar in the 4th minute, and Rohan Gaonkar in the 19th minute. The second half saw further goals from Rahul Gaonkar in the 45th minute and Velyod D’Souza in the 58th minute.

Rosary College of Commerce & Arts from Navelim also triumphed in the third match, defeating Goa College of Engineering, Farmagudi, 5-0. The first half included goals from Sheldon Fernandes in the 6th minute and A. Gomes in the 20th minute. The second half saw Garrison Fernandes net a goal in the 39th minute, followed by A. Gomes and Garrison Fernandes again scoring in the 46th and 51st minutes, respectively.

At the Rosary Church ground, Narayan Zantye College of Commerce, Bicholim, edged out Government College of Arts, Science & Commerce, Quepem, in a thrilling match that ended 3-2. The first half saw Narayan Zantye College take a 2-0 lead with goals from Sitaram Pirankar in the 16th minute and Tanmay Naik in the 34th minute. G.C. Quepem fought back in the second half, leveling the score with goals from Daksh Nadvimanni in the 38th minute and Shrine Clement in the 45th minute. However, Narayan Zantye College regained the lead with Nikhil Kolkar's goal in the 51st minute and held on for the win.

In the second match, Dempo College of Commerce & Economics, Cujira, Bambolim, defeated Goa Multi-Faculty College, Dharbandora, 4-0. The standout player, Topon Minj, scored all four goals at the 4th, 9th, 40th, and 41st minutes, showcasing complete control throughout the match.

In the final match of the day, CES College of Arts & Commerce, Cuncolim, achieved a remarkable 8-0 victory over Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Miramar, scoring four goals in each half. Saish Gaonkar opened the scoring with a hat trick in the first half, netting goals in the 15th, 28th, and 35th minutes. The second half saw continued dominance, with goals from Dikshay Gaonkar, Vedant Valke, Tohid Yattanli, and Gaonkar again, who capped the scoring with his fourth goal in the 55th minute.
