Sporting Club of Davorlim entered the finals of the Vaidya Family Memorial Cup 2025, organised by Cuncolim Union after defeating Curtorim Gymkhana 5-4 in the tie-breaker, at Cuncolim village playground, on Thursday.
At the end of play both the teams were locked in a goalless draw.
In the tie-breaker, William, Adarsh, Airon, Ajay and Alent scored for SC Davorlim while Regan, Anselm, Rhay and Aliston were on target for Curtorim Gymkhana.
Ajay Raj of Sporting Club of Dovorlim was awarded the man of the match by Hitesh Patel,Divisional Manager South Goa and Harshit Sengar Divisional Manager North Goa of New India Assurance Co Ltd. Sporting Club of Dovorlim will now play against the winners of United Club Of Seraulim and fr Agnelo Sports Club Paroda.
