Stamina Cricket Club narrowly defeated Polem Cricket Club by 4 runs in the 23rd Nanda Lolayekar Cricket Tournament, sponsored by Commonwealth Developers Private Limited, at Nirakar Maidan, Dapot Mashem.
Batting first, Stamina Cricket Club posted a challenging total of 209/9 in 35 overs. Sidesh Bhagat was the standout performer with the bat, scoring 61 runs off 77 balls. Nitesh Vaiguinkar contributed with 44 runs, while Abhishek Singh added 33 runs.
For Polem Cricket Club, Anup Kudtarkar and Rajat Pagi took three wickets each, and Lokesh Sharma picked up two wickets.
Polem Cricket Club responded with an aggressive chase, finishing at 205/8 in 35 overs. Deepesh Naik led the charge with a quickfire 60 off 42 balls, while Narendra Kadam supported with 58 runs from 58 balls. Atul Yadav also chipped in with 40 runs.
Manish Nirawadekar was the key bowler for Stamina Cricket Club, taking 3 wickets, while Rahul Vishwakarma claimed one wicket, helping Stamina hold on to a narrow win.
