Following reports in certain media outlets regarding the recent breach of confidential information concerning AIFF employees, the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of the AIFF received a formal complaint on the matter. The ICC convened on Friday at the Football House to address the issue. After thorough discussions, the committee submitted its findings, stating that the alleged breaches of confidentiality and IT policies do not fall within the ICC's jurisdiction.

The ICC recommended prompt action by the AIFF to address all types of breaches, including those related to confidentiality, to protect the rights of its employees.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, May 7, the AIFF officially filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Unit of the Delhi Police regarding the aforementioned allegations. The AIFF expressed its full cooperation with the authorities and remains hopeful for a positive resolution following the completion of the investigation.

Acting Secretary General of the AIFF, M Satyanarayan, emphasized the organization's commitment to maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of its staff. He stated, "We are fully committed to upholding the integrity and confidentiality of all our staff members who we keep in high regard. In light of the complaint received, we are doing everything to take things to a logical conclusion. Apart from the ICC meeting, we have already filed an official complaint with the Cyber Crime Unit of the Delhi Police who have assured us of all help to get to the root of the problem at the earliest."
