Cuncolim Union and Mandopa SC played out an exhilarating 3-3 draw in the GFA First Division League at the Benaulim ground, with Wilson’s early brace setting the tone before Mandopa fought back in a six-goal spectacle.
Cuncolim were off to a flying start as Wilson struck twice in the 3rd and 19th minutes, handing his side a 2-0 cushion. However, Mandopa hit back through Charles in the 11th minute before Laxman leveled matters in the 37th minute. The turnaround was complete when Samson put Mandopa ahead in the 72nd, only for Tyson to rescue a point for Cuncolim with a dramatic equalizer in the 90+6 minute.
Elsewhere at Poriat ground, YC Manora secured a solid 3-1 win over AA de Moira. Prefen opened the scoring in the 14th minute, before Gerito (63’) and Arhan (90’) sealed the deal for Manora. Sanket pulled one back for AA de Moira in the 74th minute, but it proved too little, too late.
