Goa added two more bronze medals to its tally on Sunday at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand. Both the medals came from modern pentathlon.
The Goan team comprising Suraj Velip, Udesh Majik and Sunil Gaonkar finished third in Triathle Men's Team Event with a timing of 54.20.51. The gold and silver were bagged by Haryana and Uttarakhand.
Suraj Velip added yet another medal to his kitty by winning a bronze in Triathle Mixed Relay Event along with his partner Pratiksha Velip. They finished third with a timing of 18.53.13 behind Maharashtra and Haryana.
Goa has so far won six medals (3 silver and 3 bronze) in modern pentathlon at the Uttarakhand Games. Goa's overall medal tally stands at 2 gold, 3 silver and 4 bronze and is currently lying at 25th place in the medal tally.
