MARGAO Navelim Sporting Club advanced to the finals of the 41st Sao Jose de Areal Panchayat Cup by defeating Fr. Agnel YSC Paroda 2-0 at the Padribhat Sao Jose de Areal ground on Thursday.
Navelim took the lead in the 10th minute with a goal from Ronaldo Pereira and maintained a 1-0 advantage at halftime. They extended their lead in the 38th minute when Noah Luis found the back of the net.
Noah Luis was named Man of the Match, receiving the award from coach Bersal Viegas. Navelim Sporting Club will face Curtorim Gymkhana in the final on October 27.
