Nuvem Veterans emerged victorious in the S. Mini Mart Seraulim 7-a-side Veterans Cup, organized by the United Sports Club of Seraulim, defeating Calangute Veterans 2-0 in a penalty shootout after a goalless draw in regular time, held at the Seraulim Church ground.
The second half saw both teams battle primarily in midfield, with Calangute displaying slight dominance but unable to break the deadlock. Nuvem had a missed opportunity to score in the 42nd minute, keeping the match scoreless.
Nuvem converted their kicks through Victorino Colaco and Marcus Carvalho while Calangute failed to score any.
The chief guest was Fr Jose Gomes, Parish Priest and Vice President of the United Sports Club of Seraulim,presented the prizes alongside dignitaries including Polly Cruz, Jilu Fernandes, Matty Vaz, Sandeep Shanke, Steven Fernandes, Savio Vales, Pio Vales, and Jess Cardozo.
