MARGAO: Colva Veterans secured a decisive 3-1 victory over Betalbatim Veterans in the inaugural match of the 21st Flame of Unity Veterans Football Tournament, held at Mabai Ground, Per Seraulim, on Tuesday.
The match saw Colva Veterans dominate, with Filipino delivering a spectacular hat-trick to propel his team into the next round. Betalbatim Veterans managed a consolation goal courtesy of Levi, but it proved insufficient to overcome Colva's strong performance.
