Compassion Sports Club showcased their dominance in the Under-15 Khelo India Football Championship on Sunday, defeating the Union of Chinchinim Villagers 4-1 at the Sinquetim Sports Complex.
The match kicked off with an early scare for Compassion, as Acira Fernandes of the Union of Chinchinim Villagers found the net in the 3rd minute, giving her team a brief lead. However, Compassion quickly responded, with Clea Abigail Colaco equalising in the 12th minute.
Building on their momentum, Compassion took control of the game, with Sanika Borges scoring in the 19th minute to put them ahead. Colaco then scored twice more, her second coming in the 23rd minute. The second half saw Colaco continue her impressive performance, scoring her third goal in the 59th minute to secure a hat-trick and seal the victory for Compassion SC.
