In the 7th edition of the Rajdeep Builders Sarsangan Super Series Cricket 2024-25, the Mapusa Dream Crushers, DNS / VMJ’s Rookies, and Desserts n More Avengers triumphed in their respective matches, on the 9th day of the Rajdeep Builders Sarsangan Super Series Cricket, at Arlem Cricket Ground.
In the first match at MCC Ground, the 108 Delite Titans were put in to bat and were bowled out for a modest 95 in 19.4 overs. Raj Prabhudesai (19), Amogh Agshikar (14), Vidheya Kossambe (12), and Nikhil Virginkar (12) contributed to the total. Paarth Kossambe (2-3), Kaushal Hattangadi (2-15), Mahesh Churi (2-15), Kritin Bhangui (2-19), Durgesh Prabhugaonkar (1-8), and Vipul Deshprabhu (1-9) were the top bowlers.
The Mapusa Dream Crushers chased down the target easily, finishing at 96-1 in 8.2 overs. Kaushal Hattangadi scored 36, Sarvesh Kamat 29, and Anish Mahambrey remained unbeaten on 19. Viraj Puranik took the lone wicket for the Titans. Kaushal Hattangadi was named Drogaria Colvalcar Man-of-the-Match, Sarvesh Kamat won the Priority Constructions Best Batter award, and Kritin Bhangui was recognized as the Wakao Best Bowler.
In the second match, Commonwealth Fountainheads posted a strong 166/6 in 20 overs. Ameya Rajadhyaksh top-scored with 36, supported by Aditya Prabhugaonkar (35) and Laxmikant Kurade (32). Balkrishna Hodarkar, Pratham Kossambe, Sanat Kamat, and Ved Mahambre took one wicket each.
The DNS / VMJ’s Rookies chased down the target with 167-7 in 19.4 overs. Rajaram Kundaikar (31) and Pratham Kossambe (32) set the foundation, while skipper Ved Mahambre blasted 36 off 19 balls to lead them to victory. Sahil Neurenkar contributed 10, including a six in the final over. Aditya Prabhugaonkar, Saish Hegde, and Pratap Prabhugaonkar each took 2 wickets, but the Rookies held on. Ved Mahambre was named Drogaria Colvalcar Man-of-the-Match, Ameya Rajadhyaksh earned the Priority Constructions Best Batter award, and Aditya Prabhugaonkar was the Wakao Best Bowler.
the floodlit match, Priority Titans were dismissed for 103 in 19.4 overs. Rauji Kakodkar (23), Animesh Prabhugaonkar (21), Sudin Kamat (20), and Sahish Mahambrey (10) were the main contributors. Sarin Pai Kane was the standout bowler with 2-13, while Akhil Nadkarni took 2-14. Sankalp Bhat, Samruddh Hegde Desai, Vaibhav Kadkade, and Siddhesh Prabhu Alvencar each picked up a wicket.
The Desserts n More Avengers chased down the target in 17.4 overs, finishing with 104-4. Sanat Prabhudesai scored 29, Aditya Dalal 22, Sandip Thali 16, and Sarin Pai Kane remained not out on 11. Animesh Prabhugaonkar was the star performer with the ball, taking 3-4, while Sudin Kamat claimed 1-19. Sarin Pai Kane was named Drogaria Colvalcar Man-of-the-Match, Sanat Prabhudesai won the Priority Constructions Best Batter award, and Animesh Prabhugaonkar was the Wakao Best Bowler.
